History of Touhou Project Lovers (TPL) Community.

Touhou Project Lovers (TPL) was a community was started from a facebook group that was created at March 19th, 2017. The group's name at the time was "Touhou Project Group" (if I remember correctly). I (Cirno) didn't have any real reason why I created the group. I just liked touhou and wanted to have my own touhou community after I joined several touhou groups on facebook.

Several weeks later, I thought the name was too common. So I asked some members what name that was good for the group. After many people gave suggestions, I decided to use the name "Touhou Project - The Wonderland of Gensokyo".

Then, at May 24th, 2017, I decided to create touhou fans page, at first the page was called "Touhou Project (東方)". I created the page because at the time my accounts were often get zucced (I think it's because I don't use real PP or I have more than 1 acount, and facebook marks my ip), so I thought by creating a fans page, I could still use it even if my account got zucced again as long as my other accounts were still admins of the page, and I also thought that fans page will have more coverage than personal account.

Several weeks later, I wanted to change the page's name for the same reason as the group, the name (Touhou Project (東方)) was too common. So, Kogasa and I thought the name for the page (At the time Kogasa was not an admin yet)

I wanted a name that was easy to remember, a name that included both words "touhou" and "project", and there was no big touhou community that used the name. After we thought of several names and searching on google and facebook, we decided to use "Touhou Project Lovers". The name is easy to remember, easy to find on google and facebook, and I hope people will also love touhou.

Then, at July 16th, 2017, I Kogasa became the second admin of the page and the group (before that I was the only one managing TPL). The two of us managed them together. The page and group grew faster.

The next day at July 17th of 2017, I created TPL blog. I created the contents, design, etc. while Kogasa became an advisor, he gave me suggestions to improve the blog.

At 4th september 2017, I decided to make the all communities have same name, So, I changed the facebook group's name into "Touhou Project Lovers Group". The I changed it again on 5th September to "Touhou project Lovers - Group", I just added "-"

Then, on September of 2017, Kogasa introduced me to Alice and Nitori, then both of them became admins of touhou project lovers. The page became more active than before.

Then on October of 2017, Momiji (Sill) suggested us to make discord community, after we talked several times and talked with other admins, we created a discord server at October 16th, 2017. Momiji also became an admin of discord community.

Then, on November 2017, we merged the page with a page owned by Nitori, which had 2000 likes.

Several months later (I forget the date), we created Google+ group, but it's hard to invite members to our Google+ group because none of admins had many friends on google+, then the group was abandoned.

Then, at September 5th 2018, something bad happened to our discord server. My account which was an owner of the server was used by someone because I online from a public computer and I forgot to log out. Bird decide to create a new discord server until the old server could be used again.

I sent an email to discord staffs, they said they didn't make a back up for a server that was deleted by the owner, so we couldn't get it back. So we used the new server. Fortunately, we had facebook fans page, facebook group, blog and other staffs also share invite links to their accounts and their pages. So, we could get many members very fast.

We also made a forum for TPL (created by Nitori), unfortunately, it is not going well. There's a lack of motivation and money, and the staffs are also busy. Some staffs are trying to manage it by designing the forum, but it's eventually abandoned before we even share it to public.
